According to reports from the Eagle Tribune : In March 2012, job gains occurred in all 12 areas for which estimates are published.  Over the year, job gains were realized in nine of the 12 areas with the largest gains in the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, Barnstable, Framingham, Lowell-Billerica-Chelmsford, and Peabody areas. The largest percentage gains occurred in the Barnstable, Haverhill-North Andover-Amesbury, Lowell-Billerica-Chelmsford and Peabody areas.
